Venice, June 7, 2014 – The lighting projects of Artemide, a leader in the Made-in-Italy lighting sector, have always been imbued with innovation, technology, and culture.

The same values were also at the basis of the decision of Artemide to partner with the Korean Pavilion at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition.

The pavilion hosts to the installation Crow’s Eye View: The Korean Peninsula”, curated by Minsuk Cho, where architecture from the Korean Peninsula appears as a mechanism to generate different narrative stories through the perception of both everyday features and monumental ones. These stories are represented through a broad range of works by architects, urban designers, poets, writers, artists, photographers, film-makers, and collectors.

Artemide is also the main sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at the exhibition in Venice with the show “Innesti/Grafting”, set up by Cino Zucchi. For this show the Company designed an inspiring lighting project by  Carlotta de Bevilacqua.

This demonstrates the close connection between Artemide and both the Italian and worldwide architecture, through the light experience.
