From 22nd November to 6th January in Milan, takes shape with the Patrocinio del Comune di Milanom the first outdoor photo exhibition Ey You! by Stefano Guindani, who uses the façades of the Microsoft House to tell the life and faces of Haiti children.
EY YOU! takes its name from the characteristic creole expression with which children welcome foreigners in the slums of the capital Port Au Prince.
Over 100 windows of the Microsoft House will be applied to the giant gigantographs of children portrayed by Stefano Guindani as they jump, ideally give their hand from one floor to the other in the palace and open to warm hugs. EY YOU! so it is a joyous salute from Haiti children to the Italians, an invitation to visit the exhibition, but above all an invitation not to forget about them.
At the same time as the spectacular outdoor set-up, over 65 images will be displayed in the Microsoft House showroom. The exhibition collects images by Stefano Guindani during his latest reportage on the island, together with the Francesca Rava Foundation, in July 2017, as well as a selection of shots from the volume “Do You Know?” edited by SKIRA and some of them the most impressive images of Stefano’s first trip to Haiti between 2008 and 2010.
Artemide supports the Ey You! project of which it fully shares the values. With special Tolomeo, designed to underline the exposed photographs, it emphasizes through the light the emotion and the vital charge that these images transmit.
