Artemide and Danese will participate to Mi/Arch 2014, the International Architecture Festival that will take place on October 13 to 16 at the Milan Polytechnic, thus confirming the integral role of architecture in their project.
The Festival will compare different generations of architects and designers through meetings, exhibitions, and itineraries organized within the faculty of architecture.
Artemide will fit the Mi/Arch 2014 bookshop with lighting appliances designed by great architects, which offer the best expression of the company’s outstanding identity. These lighting projects demonstrate the effort of Artemide to develop ongoing innovation and research, however in consideration of such important features as tradition and aesthetic perception of products. Lamps like Metacolor by Ernesto Gismondi, Empatia di Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Paola di Arianello, Pipe by Herzog & De Meuron, Demetra by Naoto Fukasawa will be on display.
Danese will be involved, also in the bookshop area, with some “space” projects characterized by simple graphics and essential, understated, elegant lines, including the small XY tables by di Paolo Rizzatto, the Ovidio tables by Francisco Gomez Paz and the Amila chairs by Naoto Fukasawa.
During the four days of meetings tied together by the catch phrase “Love Architecture”, architect Carlotta de Bevilacqua will hold a lecture on the theme “Light, Man, Space in Contemporary Project”.
