Christophe Mathieu was born in Amburgh in 1961, he graduated in Interior Design at Scuola di Arti e Mestieri La Llotja, in Barcelona. In Amburgh he collaborated with the architechts Nitz, Prash and Sigl. He lived three years in Milan where he worked with Zanuso jr. at the development of products for various companies as De Padova, Menphis and Driade; together with the architects Roberto Menghi and Giulio Crespi; with the industrial designer Sergio Coppola and the architect Antonio Zanuso in the winner project of Piazza della Repubblica in Milan. In 1989 he decided to move to Barcelona, where he collaborated with Alfredo Arribas, Eduard Samsò and Javier Mariscal. He also worked for:Bosa, Artelano, Disform, Metalarte, Bover, Chupa-Chups, Smint, Nike, Bticino, Comas & Partners andz Marset.
