Artemide renews its participation in the Dubai Design Week, scheduled on November 13-18 in the Arabic city. During the design week, now at its fourth edition, the Artemide Flagship Store at building 6 in the Dubai Design District (d3) will host to new generations of products that convey research, technology, and high-quality manufacturing.
Artemide and Neri&Hu, shared values
The highlight of the Artemide display will be the Yanzi collection, born from a collaboration with the Neri&Hu firm founded by architects Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu in Shanghai.
Yanzi is a family of appliances expressing a perfect blend of tradition and innovation, sustainable interaction of material, form, and light. It is an open system, ideal to create lightweight compositions and lightscapes.
The research carried out by Neri&Hu in collaboration with Artemide continues with nh1217, a suggestion for Holidays season that introduces intuitive use and recalls the use of lanterns, reinterpreting the Oriental culture and tradition with a contemporary approach.
Artemide and the culture of design
In addition to the Yanzi collection, the display at the Artemide showroom in Dubai includes appliances derived from close cultural synergies and design partnerships with outstanding international architecture firms and top brands: Alphabet of Light, by BIG, in the new circular and linear version, a modular system of lighting elements to write and draw with light; Orsa, signed by Foster+Partners, a complex system of lighting solutions; Unterlinden, by Herzog&De Meuron, on display here also in the recent table version; LoT, by Tapio Rosenius, a lighting project that combines a projector and a software application to interpret and program light in a flexible and dynamic manner to satisfy all lighting needs; Ameluna, born from a collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Style, a suspension appliance introducing new thinking about light.
Much more than an exibiting area
The Artemide showroom in Dubai is a space where light is approached through the emotion and technology conveyed by the products, as well as a reference point for professional operators, a competence centre at the service of architects, designers, and lighting designers.
