The architectural space of Santa Maria at San Satiro, result from the renovation and enlargement work of Donato Bramante, lives a special relationship with the natural light.

The artificial lighting project stems from the analysis of certain atmosphere and geometries created by the natural light inside of sacred architecture: perspective, geometry, rhythm and relationship between full and empty spaces are the key points for the respect for the identity of the place .

The Artemide expertise has allowed the realization of a new experience in the relationship between space and light, natural and artificial.

According to the design and construction management of the architect. Giorgio Ripa (Company of Milan Study Area) in consultation with the Soprintendenza al Paesaggio e ai Beni architettonici di Milano and with the Archdiocese, Artemide has specially designed and made special products for a lighting solution that respects the specific symbolic design of the building.
