Ixa Family
Ixa by Foster+Partners and Vine Light by BIG are among the selected “ADI Design Index 2023” products.
Two very different collections that share the principles of Human&Responsible Light Artemide.
They are transversal elements in which sustainability is at the heart of the design: starting from the light element common to the different versions, they form a family of elements capable of illuminating any space by flexibly following the needs for light. In both, optoelectronic innovation combines with design and production know-how to give shape to products with timeless lines.
Vine Light and Ixa will be on exhibition until 19 November at the ADI Design Museum together with the best products and services from all sectors of Italian design that will compete together for the XXVIII Compasso D'Oro award.

Ixa is composed through the combination of a swivelling spherical head with rods and counterweights that allow light to be brought into the space and moved freely to define functional and dynamic lighting scenarios. "Inspired by the dynamic sculptures of Alexander Calder, the design interprets the idea of 'elegant balance' through precision engineering."
Vine Light Family

Vine Light is a new generation of task light from which comes a family of solutions to bring light into every space. A constant section of only 16 mm in diameter designs the structure and encloses all the optoelectronic and mechanical elements. What appears as continuity is a succession of components with different functions and characteristics, which translate technological complexity into simplicity and freedom.
