Entrepreneur, architect, designer, and lecturer, Carlotta de Bevilacqua is one of the leading figures in contemporary design culture and entrepreneurial vision. With a degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1983, she is President and CEO of the Artemide Group.
A highly experienced designer, she has developed a significant research path in the field of light. For Artemide and Danese, she has created many new-generation products, recognised with numerous invention patents and awards. She has introduced innovative technological perspectives into the field of lighting, as well as unprecedented scenarios in sensory experience and in the interaction between communication and information (IoT), exploring the new frontiers of photonics research.
