Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli building in Milan, triangular glass facade with Artemide linear LED ceiling lights visible inside

Main facade

Artemide illuminates the new headquarters of Fondazione Feltrinelli in Porta Volta, Milan, designed by the prestigious architectural studio Herzog & De Meuron.

For each of the five floors of the building Artemide has developed specific lighting solutions capable of dialoguing with the architecture and the different uses of the spaces: flexible, dynamic proposals capable of defining the environments at different times of the day, ensuring high technical performance and pleasant lighting atmospheres.

Modern open-plan office with linear LED pendant lights suspended from exposed concrete ceiling, illuminating workstations divided by glass partitions.

Algoritmo - Carlotta de Bevilacqua, Paola di Arianello

Two dark grey Artemide adjustable task lamps on white desks in a modern open-plan office with large windows.

Demetra - Naoto Fukasawa

In the third and fourth floor office environments, the Algoritmo system, integrating with the architecture, defines a uniform illuminance perfect for workspaces where each workstation is also supported by Demetra task light table.

With Herzog & De Meuron continues the intense collaboration between the leading lighting design company and great architects

In the library on the top floor, the lighting project finds its maximum expression in terms of emotion and scenic perception of space, dialoguing with the large windows that characterize the structure of the building.

A regular waterfall of more than 100 Unterlinden lightly animates the space.

A special version of Unterlinden table, specially designed for reading stations, anticipates the evolution of this family of lights: a project much appreciated for its minimalist aesthetics combined with a strong material characterization and a high technical lighting value, perfect to be declined in different versions.
