Artemide & Fondazione
IEO-MONZINO

Artemide, in partnership with the IEO-MONZINO Foundation, has launched the project "For Illuminated Research" to improve the working conditions and quality of analysis in the laboratories of the Monzino Cardiology Center.

Two laboratories, the Microscopy laboratory and the Histology laboratory, have been illuminated, with a focus on environmental conditions through the reduction, thanks to light, of pathogenic microorganisms.

The use of the INTEGRALIS® technology, developed by Artemide, offers a combined performace of lighting and antimicrobial effect, improving the environmental quality of spaces over time.

This partnership aims to support research and honor the legacy of Ernesto Gismondi, the founder of Artemide.

"I would like to thank Artemide in the person of Architect Carlotta de Bevilacqua for her willingness and attention to our Research group, supporting this project that simultaneously illuminates and sanitizes spaces that are essential to us. This is an innovative project that brings together two Italian excellences."
